Scotch Drinkers Drink Tea Too

Go over to Padraic's blog and enhance your appreciation of tea:

Tempest in a Teacup

As Scotch drinkers, we tend to describe whiskies in terms of various foods, scents, or imagined flavors.  Padraic does this for tea as well, but he also occasionally drops in delightful Scotch references or comparisons, such as with Russian Caravan and Lapsang Souchong.

I've included a link to Tempest in a new section on the right hand side of this blog, and I even contributed a post.

  1. Hey, thanks for the plug! =) Contribute anytime!

I suppose I describe tea using Scotch descriptors because I started writing about Scotch first...I have come across tea described more in terms of wine, but I don't have much of a vocabulary along those lines...besides, Scotch is way more fun to read about/write about/drink/think about drinking =)
