My first taste of the Nectar d'Or was pretty underwhelming. It was at Whisk(e)y-a-GoGo this past February, and I'd been looking forward to trying this offering from Glenmorangie for some time. I've loved everything I've had from the distillery, so it was pretty surprising that this and the Finealta, a lightly peated offering that I was

Review: Oban 18

Oban 18

Bowmore is one of those distilleries that is not on my short list of favorites, yet still I end up buying bottle after bottle. I think the reason is that there is so much potential in this Islay spirit with its medium level of peat, unique floral character, and seaside influence. I was intrigued to see what a non chill-filtered and cask

Review: Ellenstown 10

Ellenstown 10
